Albert Bichot Montagny 1er Cru 2014 Product #31379 (In Stock)
Albert Bichot Montagny 1er Cru 2014 Albert Bichot Montagny 1er Cru 2014

The Côte Chalonnaise village of Montagny is one of the last bastions  of real white Burgundy value, and this rich and vibrant wine makes that point nicely.  Aromas of white fruits, vanilla, and brioche get a nice lift from hints of mint and lime.  Round on the palate with zesty white peach, lemon curd, green apple and fresh hazelnut flavors and a dose of lime zest and crushed stone minerality at the end.  This will work well with sushi and smoked salmon now and with richer fish and poultry dishes over the next few years.

Albert Bichot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin 2014 Product #31381 (In Stock)
Albert Bichot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin 2014 Albert Bichot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin 2014

A lot of value in this rich but very elegant 1er Cru red Burgundy from Mercurey.  Boldly aromatic where a touch of spicy oak shows now then pure and long and very satisfying on the palate.

"Elegant cherry nose with touches of violets. On the palate it is medium-bodied but intense, with fine-grained tannins and good acidity to give length and lift. A light touch though still structured." Decanter 90 points

Albert Bichot Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Malconsorts 2014 Product #31380 (In Stock)
Albert Bichot Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Malconsorts 2014 Albert Bichot Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Malconsorts 2014

"Outstanding. A top note of menthol adds to the breadth of the overtly spicy and fresh nose of dark currant, plum and violet scents. There is both good volume and muscle to the mineral-inflected big-bodied flavors that possess excellent power on the imposing and beautifully long finale. This beauty is built-to-age and is definitely going to need it."Allen Meadows 91-93 points

"The 2014 Vosne Romanée 1Er Cru les Malconsorts has an elegant, refined bouquet with mineral-tinged red berry fruit, composed and a little backward but nicely focused. There is class here. The palate is supple on the entry with fine tannin, silky smooth in texture, very harmonious and nicely structured on the finish. This is a subtle Malconsorts, one that should not be underestimated."Wine Advocate 92-94 points
