From just outside of Pouilly Fuisse, this beauty is rich and deeply flavored, serving up wave after wave of pineapple, apple, and yellow peach fruit framed in mouth-tingling acidity and chalky minerality. One of the steals of our 2013 Burgundy selections - buy lots.
"A ripe, pretty and relatively elegant nose of stone, lemon rind and acacia blossom leads to saline, detailed and impressively mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess really lovely intensity and punch on the racy, balanced and appealingly dry finish."Allen Meadows 89-91 points

You'll look long and hard to find Pouilly Fuisse - heck, any white Burgundy! - that's this rich, deep, and satisfying for so very little money. Chistophe Thibert makes this wine from different plots of 30+ year-old Chardonnay vines, all farmed organically and to very low yields. The 2011 is even richer than the 2010, but harvesting early kept this big wine fresh and bright. Only 8% new oak (which has already integrated since Burghound's tasting) gives depth and spice. Hard to resist now but even better from 2016 on.
"Here too a subtle application of oak frames the essence of pear and dried floral scents. There is an utterly beguiling texture to the solidly well-concentrated medium-bodied flavors that exhibit a faint minerality on the impressively persistent finish where the wood treatment resurfaces."Allen Meadows 89-92 points

Everything takes a big step up in this single vineyard wine from one of Thibert’s two best sites. The Burghound review captures this well – rich, complex, and loaded with driving minerality. Outstanding
“Moderate wood doesn't detract from the otherwise fresh, bright and expressive nose that offers up white orchard fruit aromas, subtle spice hints and floral notes that precede rich, sappy and admirably pure flavors that possess plenty of acid buffering dry extract and excellent length as well as notably more complexity. Sweet Spot/Outstanding”Allen Meadows 89-92 points
- Dom Thibert Pouilly Fuisse Les Champs 2007 Product #24754 (In Stock)

This is the kind of wine that top winemakers working with great sites were able to make in 2007. Amazing balance and depth here with flavors and structure that suggests 1er Cru Chassagne. The finish goes on and on.
“An equally expressive and elegant nose of white flower and green fruit aromas that are trimmed in a discreet if evident wood treatment slide gracefully into citrusy and vibrant middle and sappy weight flavors that also possess good minerality and superb intensity on the balanced, concentrated and impressively long finish. Outstanding.”Allen Meadows 92 points

This is just about as good as Pouilly Fuisse ever gets, and better than ever in 2010. From very old vines, including some about 100 years old, the complexity, power, and depth are simply astounding. Fascinating aromas and flavors of grilled nuts, fresh butter, mint, apple butter, and tangerine zest get more and more delicious with air as a sense of spice grows. Mouthwatering and very long on the layered, luscious, finish. A profound Pouilly Fuisse.
“Sweet Spot Outstanding. A slightly smoky and intricately layered nose speaks of dried rose petal, stone, citrus and spice hints that precede the rich, generous and fleshy flavors that are shaped by the firm acidity on the balanced, palate staining and impressively persistent finish. As it often is, this is the best of these 2010s.”Allen Meadows 90-93 points
