This seldom seen Cote Chalonnaise village a few minutes southwest of Santenay is dedicated to 100% Aligote - Burgundy's "other white grape." Here ripe fruit and barrel fermentation give a creamy, rich, wine that hints at Meursault texture. Lime, fresh butter, and chalky mineral flavors in the middle and then a long, lingering, fresh butter and nut finish make this a versatile wine that will sing with seafood or mushroom dishes.
